How long does it take to set up my Continuous Maintenance Plan™?

Does it matter what hosting provider I am using?

No, we will help anybody, no matter who they host with. We realize that every website has different needs and that clients have different budgets and hosting requirements. If you’re looking to switch, upgrade, or just need a recommendation, just ask and we will let you know who we recommend.

Will you manage my woocommerce website?

Absolutely. You will need to choose our Manage Plan or VIP plan, because E-commerce websites take more resources for us to manage, test and keep running smoothly.

What happens if my website goes down, is hacked, breaks, etc.?

Our website care plans are preventative care, so we do our best to prevent anything from happening. However in the event that your website has a major issue, we will be there to take care of it. We cannot make guarantees that your website will never be hacked, but we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of the website with one of our backups.

What tasks are included in the dedicated support time?

Content update requests and small design improvements are the most common requests, however anything that can fit into your monthly support time is fine. We just ask you to be aware that requests for new features to your website involving installing a new plugin or a full design will likely result in a formal quote, as those commonly go over the monthly dedicated time.

Does monthly time roll over?

Each month, we reserve your place in our queue and resources. Because of this, monthly time does not rollover.

What if I need more support time?

If you have a change or task that will need more than your included time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan.

Can I really cancel at any time?

Absolutely. We are all about a positive relationship with you and your website, so we would be sad to see you go, but we know financial needs weigh on many decisions and don’t want to lock anyone in. Request a cancellation by emailing support@spadedg.com and your service will end at the end of the month, before you are billed.

You didn’t build my website. Can I still sign up for the Continuous Maintenance Plan™?

Absolutely but first you will have to purchase a Maintenance Plan Audit. This will enable us to audit your website and discover if there are any performance issues or extra items to fix. If we come across problems that can’t be taken care of in the monthly support time, we will get in touch and discuss them with you.

How do strategy calls work?

You jump onto our online calendar system and book an hour that works for you. During the call, we can talk through any questions you have, issues you are trying to solve, do a little bit of training, or even show you how to make a site change that you may be struggling with. We use Zoom video conferencing, so that we can see each other and do screen shares if needed.

Why are there so many updates?

Sometimes it can seem like WordPress releases a new version or patch every second day. This is a good thing because as popular as WordPress is with business owners like you, it is equally popular for hackers to try and get into sites. That is why updating WordPress with each version is the single best way to ensure you are protected. Plus, as new technology and web services are released, you want to make sure that your website can take advantage of the improvements.

What information will you need from me?

Once you have signed up, we will ask you to fill out a form with your WordPress administrator login, as well as login details for your host. Once this information is provided, onboarding will begin and you will receive email notifications of our process.

How am I invoiced?

When you sign up you will pay with a credit card, this credit card will be automatically charged on the 1st of every month. If you sign up in the middle of the month, your first charge is prorated to only charge for the remainder of the month.
